Sarah Groskreutz was only slightly familiar with the March of Dimes. Then her twins arrived eight weeks early and weighed less than four pounds each. “I found out immediately how important the results of their research would be to my family.” Sarah continues, “Shortly after our son and daughter arrived they were given an injection to combat Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) and one to heal their hearts (Indomethacin). This morning, attorneys Jeremy Rosenberg and his son Nathan; and Mark Wagner and his daughter Amelia, participated in the 20th annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk To Cure Diabetes at the Mall of America. Over 20,000 individuals participated in this event.
On December 1, 2011, the Minnesota Federal Court approved an important Class Action Settlement involving widespread restraint and seclusion of several hundred Minnesotans with developmental disabilities at the Minnesota Extended Treatment Options (METO) facility located on the former Cambridge State Hospital campus.

The MDLA’s Employment Law Committee consists of attorneys who primarily represent employers and their insurers. The organization and committee goals include:

Exchange information on expert witnesses and to help defense attorneys obtain expert witnesses in various fields; and
