Attorney Bio

Tim Leer is one of Johnson & Condon’s senior partners and co-chair of the Firm’s General Liability and Professional Liability practice groups. His practice involves a variety of litigation matters including professional and pharmaceutical malpractice, products liability, No-Fault and Motor Vehicle law, premises liability, patent and trademark infringement, and employment-related claims. He is one of the Firm’s most prolific trial lawyers, and regularly receives defense verdicts in the state and federal courts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. He has over twenty-nine years experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and wrongful death matters.

Prior to joining Johnson & Condon in 1987, Mr. Leer worked at Meshbesher & Spence, Ltd., in Minneapolis, and Reinhardt and Anderson in St. Paul. A 1982 graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, he is admitted to practice in the state courts of Minnesota and Wisconsin, the Federal District Court in the District of Minnesota, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Leer is Supreme Court qualified as a neutral in arbitration and mediation.

Mr. Leer is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the state arm of that organization, the Minnesota Defense Lawyer's Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the Hennepin County Bar Association.
