Steve Sullivan has limited his practice almost exclusively to workers' compensation since his admission the bar in 1990. Although his practice over the past several years has been primarily representing employers and insurers in defending workers' compensation claims, Mr. Sullivan's experience is unique because he has also represented injured employees while operating his own law firm. This experience has given him rare insight which he often uses to his client’s advantage in defending claims. His experience also includes significant trial and appellate work.
Mr. Sullivan graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1990 following completion of his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of both the state and federal bars of Minnesota, as well as the United States Court of Federal Claims. He is a member of Minnesota State Bar Association and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association.
Mr. Sullivan’s community service has been as diverse as his practice. Throughout the years, he has worked as a volunteer firefighter, served on the Board of Directors for various charitable organizations, and coached youth soccer.
