Attorney Bio
Sarah E. Groskreutz joined Johnson & Condon in May 2005. She focuses her practice in the area of workers' compensation defense. In addition, Sarah provides advice to our business clients regarding unemployment matters.
While attending law school, she was a law clerk for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company’s house counsel. After graduation from William Mitchell, Ms. Groskreutz worked for the State of Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, where she drafted briefs on appeal to the Commissioner. As an Unemployment Law Judge, she also conducted evidentiary hearings to determine eligibility for unemployment benefits. In 2004, Ms. Groskreutz returned to Liberty Mutual’s house counsel office, where she practiced in the area of workers’ compensation defense.
Ms. Groskreutz graduated from Hamline University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She was awarded her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2002. Ms. Groskreutz is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association.
Ms. Groskreutz has been an active participant in the Minnesota High School Mock Trial competition as an attorney coach and judge. She and her husband enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, and keeping up with their twins.
