Attorney Bio

Jenna Madden Powers concentrates her civil litigation practice in the areas of premises liability, motor vehicle liability, commercial and consumer litigation, and insurance coverage. She has assisted in litigating numerous state and federal cases and focuses primarily on motion practice. Jenna represents parties involved in slip and fall claims, no-fault coverage, and consumer transaction violations. 

Ms. Powers joined Johnson & Condon as a law clerk in 2007 and became an associate in 2009. She graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2009 with honors. While at William Mitchell she was a CALI award winner, was nominated for a Burton Award as author of the best memorandum of law in her first year writing class, and received the Douglas K. Amdahl scholarship as a member of Delta Theta Phi.  

Prior to law school, Jenna received her Master’s Degree in Leadership-Public Policy in 2006 from the University of St. Thomas. During her time at St. Thomas, she participated in the Federal Legislative Policy Internship to Washington, D.C. and interned with the Minnesota Women’s Campaign Fund. In 2004, she graduated with high distinction with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa. She also received her Secondary Education Certification and is certified to teach and coach in Iowa and Minnesota. 

Outside the office, she enjoys running, playing volleyball and softball, traveling and chasing her son, Nash. Born and raised in Iowa, Jenna is also an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan and member of the University of Iowa I-Club and Alumni Association.
