NADIA B. HASAN Attorney at Law Nadia Hasan concentrates her civil litigation practice in the areas of business and commercial law, construction law and general liability. She received her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, in May of 2006. In her first year of law school, Ms. Hasan was a judicial extern for Judge Katherian Roe at the Hennepin District Court. While still in law school Ms. Hasan worked as a part time clerk for the National Arbitration Forum prior to joining Johnson & Condon as a part time law clerk in January of 2005. Ms. Hasan was a member of the National Moot Court in law school, a competition, sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Young Lawyers Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, that focuses on developing the art of appellate advocacy. Ms. Hasan also participated in numerous pro bono projects while in law school. She participated in the Asylum Law Project, where she provided legal assistance to refugees from Central and South America, determined their eligibility for political asylum and prepared applications for asylum on their behalf. She also participated in the Innocence Project, a clinic aimed at exonerating falsely convicted inmates, and prepared state and federal habeas corpus petitions on their behalf. Lastly, she volunteer for the Volunteer Lawyers Network providing pro bono civil legal advice to walk in clients. Ms. Hasan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelors degree in English and a business minor in 2002. She is admitted to practice in Minnesota State court and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Minnesota Women Lawyers.
