MARY E. KOHL Attorney at Law Mary Kohl is a shareholder with Johnson & Condon who has focused her practice on employer-related workers’ compensation issues since 1991. She represents self-insured and insured clients before the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Division, Office of Administrative Hearings, Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals and Minnesota Supreme Court. Ms. Kohl has defended thousands of workers' compensation matters. She is recognized by her clients for her enduring work ethic and ability to provide early assessments which allow for cost-effective case management and early resolution. She is also a tenacious litigator respected by members of both sides of the workers' compensation bar. Ms. Kohl lectures extensively on a variety of workers compensation issues to public and private groups, schools and peers. She is a past co-chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Committee, and serves as an arbitrator elected by insurance claim professionals to resolve equitable apportionment disputes. She is a magna cum laude graduate of the William Mitchell College of Law. Before joining the Firm, she was a legal technician at the Office of Administrative Hearings, and worked for a national insurance company as a claim professional. Ms. Kohl holds an AV Peer Review Rating by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, a recognition of very high to preeminent legal ability, expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence.
